Popular Ghanaian socialite and actress Akuapem Poloo has narrated the difficulty she is facing as a celebrity living in Accra without a sponsor.
Poloo in a recent interview disclosed that her rent is due and she cannot afford to cough up $1000 a month because her 54-year-old American lover has stopped giving her money.
The actress said she has now relocated to an affordable house in Kasoa after she was dumped by her sugar daddy.
“Accra is very expensive. Two-bedroom self apartment at Dzorwulu. I was paying $1,000 per month and I rented it for 2 years. I wasn’t the one paying for it. My sponsor was a 54-year-old white man in America.”
“I met him on Facebook. He never saw me in person but we always facetime and video call on WhatsApp. We are not together anymore, that’s why the money has stopped coming.
Narrating to Delay how she keeps up with her fake celebrity lifestyle after losing her sponsor, Akuapem Poloo said she dabbles in many things including private twerking sessions for male clients as well as advertising.
