Meet Blackway, KSM’s American Based Son Who Is a Highly Accomplished and Talented Rapper – Videos

Ghanaian rapper Blackway, real name Yaw Sintim-Misa, is signed with Republic Records.

Entertainment runs in Blackway’s blood as he is the son of Ghanian actor Kwaku Sintim-Misa.

He moved from Accra, Ghana to Long Island with his mother in 2006.

Blackway first realized rap was his true calling when he had the leading role in a school play.

His starring role was in middle school, but he dropped out to do a freestyle at a friend’s high school.

He’s been influenced by Big L, Jay Z, Eminem, Biggie, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J. Cole, Nick Grant, Tory Lanez and others.

Since 2013 Blackway has dropped several projects including Radiant Child, Radiant Child Reloaded, New Yhana, and Good.Bad.Faded*.

His video for “Cake” with Bandhunta Izzy went viral on WorldStarHipHop.

He rapped alongside Gucci Mane on “That Fast”.

In 2018 Blackway collaborated with DJ duo Black Caviar on a track for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack called “What’s Up Danger.

It has received over 19,000,000 views on YouTube alone.
