The the fight which started on United Showbis between Kwame A Plus and singer Feli Nuna has gone beyond the walls of UTV and landed on social media.
Varied opinions are being shared by music executives, feminists, and fans alike.
Rapper Edem has also decided to join the bandwagon and has shared his two cents about A Plus’ assertion that a boyfriend must be willing to invest in the career of his partner or he is useless.
A Plus boldly called Feli Nuna’s boyfriend a ‘forken’ man if he has refused to invest in her career and added that the singer should not complain if investors approach her with S*x offers.
Edem who has been monitoring what transpired took to his twitter page to describe the entire television as disrespectful to singer Feli Nuna.
In his view, men who harbor thoughts like Kwame A Plus must not be tolerated in the industry adding that such men pose as a threat to the girl-child.
He questioned how A Plus would have behaved if an elderly man told his only daughter the same words he said to Feli Nuna.
Edem wrote the below in a series of tweets.
Felly Nuna was purely disrespected on that Panel..Nobody should take that bullshit all in the name of promotion…
Those saying her boyfriend should fund her..Their girlfriends and Wives are working for other people to make money..Smh..Why aren’t you building companies for them ..Y’all are even sitting on a panel to get paid and you are saying that..Why u no build ur own stations.
Imagine your daughter working in a company that has men who think like this for a woman ..Smh..Unacceptable
