Cantata was one of Ghana’s finest television programs that consistently dominated many people’s Sunday afternoons.
Before soap operas took over the airwaves, there were local television shows that were educational, amusing, and visually appealing.
Television shows like Efie Wura, Taxi driver, Cantata, Key Soap Concert Party, and many others were the order of the day.
Cantata is one of several classic television programmes that were both entertaining and educational.
Cantata was a popular show which aired on Sunday afternoons around 2 pm.
It was created and directed by the late Nana Bosompra and shown on Ghana Television (GTV).
