Lead Singer Marcus Mumford Leaves Mumford & Sons – Announces Going Solo

The lead singer of British rock band, Marcus Mumford, has stunningly announced he’s leaving the group – signaling it might end soon!

Marcus reportedly made the announcement today, June 20th, 2022, during a private performance in the hills of the French Riviera.

Page Six exclusively reports – Mumford told the group of gathered folks that he’s leaving the group to go focus on a solo career.

In fact, his solo career started right there and then as he performed some of his solo material.

He said the new music can be found on Spotify, at whose exclusive event he was performing.

“He just said today is day one for his next thing,” an attendee at the event told Page Six.

The tabloid notes neither Mumford nor Spotify returned a request for comment.

Mumford & Sons is a British folk rock band formed in London in 2007.

The band consisted of Marcus Mumford, Ted Dwane, Ben Lovett and Winston Marshall.

Marshall left the band last year in the wake of a political controversy, with Mumford following suit now.
