The National Patriotic Party’s Freddie Blay has publicly advocated for same s*x relationships to be normalized in Ghana.
Ghanaians have reacted in shock to what they described as a bizarre utterance from the National Chairman of Ghana’s ruling party.

Many have also concluded that Freddie Blay is perhaps gay as the only explanation for the senior citizen’s bold stance.
The issue of the same s*x relationship is extensively frowned upon by Ghanaians and possibly pushed aside whenever it appears in social dialogues.
“I don’t subscribe to gays. It’s a choice because I’m not attracted to them. But I don’t want to go into people’s bedrooms to know what they are doing.” Freddie remarked.
Standing firmly by his position on the possibility of Ghanaians accepting same s*x relations, Freddie mentioned that they also have a choice.

Freddie Blay has said there is a lot of hypocrisy around the unnatural s*xual orientation as he advises Ghanaians to pipe down.
Many have analyzed the national chairman’s statements and have labelled him suspect because humans are inclined to defend their truth.
However, it appears that Freddie Blay’s remarks mirror the stance of the in-power administration.
In parliament, the minority group have accused the majority of deliberately delaying processes to pass a bill that criminalizes same-sex relations.
