History Made As Tems Becomes First Female Nigerian Act To Win BET Award – Full List

Nigerian singer Tems made history Sunday night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles after becoming the first female Nigerian act to win a BET award.

Tems won best international act award at the 2022 BET Awards held June 26th 2022.

She also won best collaboration with Wizkid and Justin Bieber for the single Essence.

Tems becomes the first female act from Nigeria to win a BET award, with the males Davido, Wizkid and Burnaboy dominating previous awards.
