Johnny Depp To Rejoin Pirates Of The Caribbean On $300m Deal After Amber Heard Victory

Published by

Johnny Depp, a renowned American actor and producer, is reportedly being paid more than $300 million to rejoin “Pirates of the Caribbean” after being abruptly fired from the series in 2018 after abuse claims made by his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard.

According to reports, the shocking information was revealed in a recent interview with Poptopic, an Australian publication.

The multiple award winner was dropped from the sixth and final part of the “Pirate” film in the wake of 36-year-old Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, which Depp claimed falsely accused him of being a domestic abuser.

Due to this, the 59 years old reportedly lost a whopping $22.5 million paycheck as a result.

Johnny Depp has portrayed the dashing buccaneer in five “Pirates” movies over the last 15 years.

However, it looks that the House Of Mouse may be willing to recast Depp in the iconic role after his well-reported defamation court victory earlier this month.

According to the source, Depp would reportedly “return as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and a spin-off Disney Plus series on the early life of the Captain of The Black Pearl” as part of the purported comeback deal, which is supposedly worth a cool $301 million.
