Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has jumped on his socials to beg his fans to support him and pay the fine slapped on him by the court.
Shatta who was elated a few minutes ago that his month-long trial has grinded to a halt and can walk around as a free man asked his fans to donate monies to his mobile money account.
Shatta has indicated that the donations have began trickling in and showered his fans with praise.
The Shatta Movement boss was arraigned before the court a few months ago after he circulated news that he was shot dead.
Recall that news went viral in September last year that Shatta Wale was shot dead after a prophet predicted that incident.
The trial which lasted for months with the musician spending some weeks behind bars has finally come to an end with the court fining Shatta Wale instead of putting him in jail.
Shatta Wale took to his Twitter page to express how excited he is to be a free man. He appreciates his lawyers, the judges, and the jury who gave the verdict.
He tweeted; “ FREE AT LAST 🙏
Being thankful and expressing gratitude is an important part of being happy in life. I wish to take this opportunity to say thank you to my Lawyer, Jerry, the Judge, Shatta Movement, and the entire nation for the support through these trying times. #OnGod”
