Sad As Alfred Amoah, MCE For Bibiani-Anhwiaso Bekwai and His Driver Perish in A Horrific Accident on The Accra-Kumasi Highway

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso Bekwai in the Western North Region has died in a gory accident with his driver.

Reports of the sad news have shocked many as videos of Tuesday evening’s incident continue to circulate all over social media.

Meanwhile, Alfred Amoah’s driver has been identified as Samuel Gyasi.

Multiple vehicles are said to have been involved in the horrifying accident at Apedwa near Tafo in the Eastern Region.

Additionally, Richard Rocky Joojo Obeng, the Western North Regional Minister, confirmed receiving the devastating news.

According to him, the news came in barely hours after he and MCE Alfred Amoah parted ways from a meeting in Accra.

The MCE was travelling in his Nissan Patrol with registration number GN 2060–18, along with his driver.

Other accident vehicles confirmed were a trailer with registration number AS 4229-X and a fuel tanker with registration number GN-8549-X.

Unfortunately, the Accra-Kumasi highway has been a death trap that has claimed the lives of so many Ghanaians who ply that road.

Meanwhile, social media accounts of the accident suggest that MCE Alfred Amoah and his driver may have died on the spot.

The other cars’ passengers were rushed to the Kibi government hospital for medical attention.
