Naa Norley Owaa Oman I – French Ambassador Anne Sophie-Ave Named Developmental Queen Of Osu

The French Ambassador to Ghana, Anne Sophie-Ave, has been named a development queen in Osu in the Greater Accra Region.

Anne was christened Naa Norley Owaa Oman 1 by the Ga community.

Her name literally means – the queen who helps her people.

Anne Sophie-Ave was named the development queen of Osu in a ceremony held today.

Video of the event popped up on social media and came to the notice of GhanaCelebrities.Com.

The video shows how the ceremony went down, with Sophie-Ave receiving a wreath around her neck and a stool to sit on.

This isn’t the first developmental crown the affable ambassador has received.

GhanaCelebrities recalls that Anne Sophie-Ave as Nkosuohemaa in the Begho community in the Bono region in February.

Anne was named Nkosuohemaa (development queen) Nana Benneh III.

A ceremony was held for her then as well.

The French diplomat has endeared herself quite well to Ghanaians during her tenure here, doing all she can to fit in.

Anne leaves Ghana at the end of August after her tenure as ambassador comes to an end.
