Wo Ti Awu – Wode Maya Roasted On Twitter For Saying Colonisation Is The Cause Of Language Barrier In Africa

YouTuber Wode Maya is not a happy man right now. He has landed himself in the hands of Twitter trolls by insinuating that Colonisation is the cause of Language Barrier in Africa.

Maya in an attempt to garner more streams for his YouTube channel tweeted what most people believed to be warp.

He posted a picture of himself and 2 others and added :

Colonisation really did harm to Africans. Three young Africans on the same dinner table but we couldn’t communicate because I speak English both speak French and Portuguese respectively ‘.

A section of netizens who couldn’t relate to his tweet descended on him heavily.

Some even suggested he should have considered posting on tiktok but not Twitter.

Others too are worried that his submission will be considered as the view of Ghanaians as he is representing Ghana as a Tourist in Zimbabwe.

The tweet has over 700 comments mostly in disagreement with his assertion.

As Stonebwoy once said, ‘Twitter is a Highway’; one needs to exercise a great deal of caution so as not to become a victim of trolls.
