Drake lost a $200k bet last weekend after Leon Edwards’ incredible shock win over Kamaru Usman at UFC 278.
“The Nigerian Nightmare” suffered only his second professional defeat following a fifth-round head-kick knockout, which stunned the fighting world.
Drizzy was so convinced that Usman would win that he bet over a quarter million dollars on a Usman knockout.
Of course, it didn’t happen, so all that money was wasted.
When Edwards found out about Champagne Papi’s wager, he clapped back at the rapper in his post-fight interview, advising him to make the proper decision next time.
Drake was apparently taking Ls left and right on Saturday, since he also lost $230k after Jose Aldo was defeated by Merab Dvalishvili.
Drake has made a habit of placing large sports bets, but it hasn’t always gone well for him.
So far, he’s lost over a million dollars on UFC fights alone.
