Popular social media relationship adviser, Abena Manokekame Magis has reportedly been arrested after defrauding fans an amount of GHC11,000.
Apparently, Abena Magis is at the Takoradi central prison after being arrested over the weekend.
Biological brother of Abena Magis, Claudio Wonder Magis has revealed that they need an amount of GHC11,000 to settle debtors and get her bail.
According to her brother, Abena Magis collected money from some of her fans to import some items for them, but her husband who was handling the funds and tracking the orders seems to have squandered the money.
Therefore after some time, when Abena Magis couldn’t deliver the items to the owners, they reported her to the police and she got arrested.
And her brother has been forced to come out with the report because they need to raise an amount of GHC 11,000 and they want to rely on the benevolence of social media users!
Claudio Wonder Magis, ‘She imports things from China and other places for people. But the person handling the accounts is her husband. Unfortunately, debtors only see her face and works so they assume she has their money and think she defrauded them‘
