A throwback video of Ghana’s rap king Michael Owusu Addo ‘Sarkodie’ has popped up online and showed a completely different side of the rapper.
Sarkodie was dancing a bit erratically, almost looking like someone we’ll locally tag as a ‘gyimi gyimi’.
In recent years, there is no artiste who pays more attention to their image than Sarkodie.

He has turned himself into a hip-hop rapper in Ghana, often dressing in over-expensive clothes, shoes and jewellery.
He’s even often spotted smoking cigars like an old-time crime lord – Sark goes all in to look ‘bougie’.
If you didn’t know, you’ll think Sarkodie has always been that way .
However, the internet never forgets and an old video of Sarkodie has popped up.
The video shows Sarkodie performing and dancing around jumping in a manner you would never expect from King Sark.
Netizens say he used to be Patapaa until money made him polished.
