Some followers of Sarkodie have started mounting pressure on the Ghanaian rapper to release a song the song he recorded to address the hardship in the economy or they will seize to be his fans.
They raised that he should replicate his efforts just as he did during the tenure of John Mahama to put his government on its toes.
The economy has taken a nose dive and nothing seems to work well for the government in power yet they pay no mind to the cries of many Ghanaians.
King Sark was a freedom fighter on social media between 2013 and 2016but he has been quiet when Ghanaians needed a voice like his to speak to authority.
The rapper made a tweet about the country and it triggered a pool of attacks and warnings from his fans.
Sarkodie‘s tweet reads: ‘Ghana is getting it organically but we gotto maintain it intentionally’
His followers told him to the face to stop kissing “a*s” and grab the bull by the horn.
They told him to release the song he has recorded to address the economy and stop pretending all is well for Ghanaians.
Between 2013 and 2016, Sarkodie released some songs that he used to address several issues of national interest.
The 2019 BET Hip hop awards winner spoke about the dumsor problem and another pressing matter in his songs and shared snippets of them online but has refused to release them for reasons best known to him.
