President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo and his ministers have fallen out of favour with actor Prince David Osei.
The Ghanaian actor was one of the dedicated supporters of the then flagbearer Nana Addo in 2016.

Together with a handful of other known celebrities, David used his clout to help get the New Patriotic Party elected.
Fast forward to 2022, the actor shared his frustration with the government’s apparent ineptitude in averting the country’s imminent crisis.
Taking to his Instagram, David shared a lengthy post discussing the president’s incompetence regarding a high rise in food prices.
He shared a current news post with the headline, “World Bank: Ghana Ranks 1st with highest food price increases of 122% in Sub-Saharan Africa.”
“But looks like you and your ministers are determined to inflict untoward hardship to the citizenry. I decided to give you and your government the benefit of the doubt, I reckon I was wrong!”
The above quote is a part of his statement, charging the government to deliver on its 2016 promise.
