Willie Spence – Tragic As American Idol Fan Favourite Dies In Car Crash Aged 23

Willie Spence, runner-up of American Idol season 19, has shockingly died! The news portal Douglas Now broke the news, citing close sources.

Spence reportedly died in a car crash in Tennessee, where he visited Tuesday, October 11.

It is believed he was driving back home from Tennessee to Atlanta Georgia when the sad event occurred.

Douglas Now wrote: “…Douglas native and American Idol season 9 runner-up Willie Spence, 23, has passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Tennessee. 

“We have no further details at this time. We extend our condolences to Willie’s family, friends and fans. He was an extraordinary talent and a ray of light to millions across the world. He will be missed,”

TMZ added further details later, revealing he suffered a flat tyre whilst driving home from Tennessee, citing a family source.

Spence allegedly fixed the tyre and continued his journey but then run into a semi truck parked on the side of the road.

A few hours before his death, the silky-voiced singer uploaded a video of himself singing, showcasing the beautiful voice with which he wowed the judges and the whole world during his stint on American Idol.
