Bereavement has hit the TV3 Ghana family as celebrated sports journalist, Thierry Nyann, has sadly lost his mother.

Mrs Pearl Ayele Aryeetey has passed away sadly, with the grieving journalist jumping on social media to reveal the shocking news.

Sharing a photo of his mother, Thierry revealed she has finally left this world behind for her journey to the great beyond.

Nyann wrote: “Rest well mum 😭🙏🏾,” 

The late Mrs Aryeetey dies aged 65.

Already, some colleagues of the presenter have expressed condolences over his loss.

Giovani Caleb, host of Showbiz 360 on TV3, retweeted Nyann’s post and expressed his condolences.

“😳Oh take heart bro. Sorry for your loss. May the good Lord console the family & give you strength. I condole with you my brother,” he wrote.
