Trinidadian-born American rapper, Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, popularly known as Nicki Minaj, has expressed her deepest condolences to the mourning Nigerian couple, Davido and Chioma Rowland.
Nicki took to social media Thursday, November 3rd 2022, to share a photo of Ifeanyi and commiserate with the couple.
She wrote on her IG stories: “My deepest condolences to Chioma and Davido during this time,”
The Nigerian musician and his lovely fiancee, professional chef Chioma, lost their 3-year-old son Ifeanyi earlier this week.
Ifeanyi drowned in the swimming pool in Davido’s Banana Island mansion.
The ‘FEM’ crooner had recently been teaching his son how to swim but was out of town with Chioma for a family meeting in Ibadan.
It’s not clear how Ifeanyi found himself in the pool.

Following his shocking death, condolences have been coming in from all over the world for the singer.
His colleagues and rivals, Burna Boy and Wizkid, all commiserated with him in their own way.
American rapper Meek Mill, an ex-boyfriend of Minaj, also sent his condolences following the news.
“Prayers to Davido and his family also praying for y’all.” he wrote on social media.
