The Nigerian singer, according to sources, has been broken and inconsolable since the sad incident which happened on the evening of 31st October 2022.
No word has come from the singer and his team but a search on his social media reveals his next point of action.
Davido, after the death of his only son, has unpinned some posts on his Instagram page including a concert scheduled to take place this month.
Puma, who also had a contract to officially release its highly anticipated collection with Davido this week has rescheduled to a later date, according to sources.
Davido’s much hyped and anticipated American Festival, A.W.A.Y, which is scheduled to take place on November 18, 2022, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia has been moved to a later day as well.
The festival would have featured artists like Kizz Daniel, Wande Coal, Lojay, Pheelz, Oxlade, BNXN (also known as Buju), Focalistc, and Victony but fans are left to wonder if it has been postponed or canceled.
Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of Davido and Chioma, was reported to have drowned in a private swimming pool at the family’s residence in Lagos.
“The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” a family source said. “By the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too late,” the source added under anonymity.
Investigations on the cause of death are still ongoing and police have detained the child’s nanny and chef to assist in the process.
