Ghanaian US-based singer Britney Boateng has been shot dead, leaving behind her 2-year-old daughter.
Tyona and Britney were involved in a fight or altercation before the shooting, according to police.
The argument was between herself and her sister-in-law on November 21 at 1 am, resulting in the latter shooting the deceased.
Columbus police say they were called around 1 a.m. to the East Side on a shooting report.
When officers arrived, they found Britney Boateng, 22, of the Southeast Side, with a gunshot wound. Boateng was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Tyona Dodson, 41, the deceased’s sister-in-law, has been arrested for the deadly shooting that occurred overnight in East Columbus.
Meanwhile, police arrested 41-year-old Tyona Dunkle of the East Side and charged her with murder.
Furthermore, she is scheduled to make her first court appearance on Tuesday morning.
