When it comes to Comedy, Nigerian Comic Actor John Ikechukwu Okafor affectionately called Mr Ibu never fails to crack ribs.

His facial expression and everything he does can attest to how talented and creative he is. Any role he plays, he does it perfectly to the admiration of his fans.
John Okafor, 61, a native of Umunekwu village in Enugu State spent his early life with his brother in Sapele after the death of his father.
Mr Ibu enrolled in a College after his West African Senior High School Examination. Unfortunately, he dropped out as a result of financial constraints he encountered.
He later engaged in several jobs such as Hairstyling, Photography and many more to support himself.
Relentless Mr Okafor gave Education another try at Institute of Management and Technology at Enugu state, Nigeria. He pursued a Degree in Mass Communication.
After his education, Mr Ibu ventures into a full time comedy featuring in over 100 movies. He is currently a Producer, Director and Actor.
John’s first marriage was in 1998. Sadly they went their separate ways after which he went celibate for 6 years.
Love found him again with his second wife, Maris Stella Chinyere. They had their traditional marriage in 2020 and a white wedding in 2015.
ChinBest as he affectionately calls his wife gave the Comedian 4 children one of blessed memory.
Prior to marrying Maris, Ibu had 9 Children from his previous marriage.
