Actress Benedicta Gafah has been accused of lying after claiming she underwent testing for HIV/AIDS recently.
Gafah claims people have been circulating a rumour that she’s HIV positive hence she decided to undergo a test to put the rumours to bed.
She claims she visited the 37 military hospital to undergo her test.

“Received a DM this morning from someone asking me if it’s tru I’m HIV positive and it’s something he/she heard. So I quickly drove to 37 (Military Hospital) and I was assured the results would be in this evening. Posting this because it isn’t the 1st time I’ve received such a message in my DM,” she said.

Netizens quickly zeroed in on inconsistencies in her story.
The video she shared of undergoing the test showed her blood being drawn with the technician not wearing gloves, something that would be a big no-no, especially in a hospital setting.
“So the person drawing blood 🩸 don’t wear surgical gloves? Ei Ghana fuo,” one fan complained.

So far no one can tell the motive behind Gafah’s post other than the fact that it’s likely a way to draw attention to herself.
If that was the intent then it’s working spectacularly because Gafah has been largely irrelevant for a couple of years now but now finds herself back in the news!
