The battle for National Democratic Congress, NDC Representative for the Ayawaso Wuogon Parliamentary Seat has brought a rift between John Dumelo and his best friend, Fred Nuamah.

John Dumelo in 2020 was given the nod to contest on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, NDC during the 2020 General Election.

Unfortunately, he lost to the NPP candidate. After the election, John Dumelo moved to SALL constituency in the Volta Region to farm and socialize with the constituents.

His activities with SALL Constituents made people believe he intends to contest for a Member of Parliament there.

However, Dumelo shocked everyone when he declared his intentions to contest the Ayawaso West Wougon Seat again in 2024.

Dumelo’s best friend, Fred Nuamah has decided to be Dumelo’s fierce rival in the primaries.

When asked why he decided to contest against his best friend, he made it known that John disclosed his intention to contest at SALL to him hence his decision to replace him at Ayawaso West Wougon.

Meanwhile, John Dumelo on United Showbiz yesterday said Fred Nuamah is a liar. He added that, he has never disclosed to Fred his intentions not to contest at Ayawaso West Wougon.
