Dancehall king without a kingdom, Shatta Wale has been reduced to begging online for gigs after begging Nigeria’s incoming President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to allow him to perform during his inauguration.
Wale took to Twiter on Wednesday, March 29th 2023, to beg Tinubu for a show. The Nigerian President-elect was celebrating his 71st birthday.
Sharing a photo of himself juxtaposed with Tinubu, Wale claimed people say they are lookalikes.
He wrote: “Your excellency everyone says I look like you, so please come and take your son from Ghana ok lol.
“They always say my father won’t come for me, so please come for me to perform for u one of my songs. Thank you Mr President. May you live long, Dad,”
At the time of writing, Tinubu has shown no inclination to take Wale up on his offer!
