Gospel musician, Empress Gifty Adorye, has finally reacted after being dragged for shading her colleague, Piesie Esther for losing the VGMA artist of the year award to Black Sherif.
Ghanaians have slammed Adorye for being a clout chaser with her post but she has refused to back down.
In a recent interview, Empress Gifty denied altogether that her post was in any way shading Piesie Esther.
You may recall, Piesie Esther lost the VGMA top award to Black Sherif at VGMA 23.
Following the awards, Empress quickly shared a post in which she said she ‘needs a new table’.
Fans quickly surmised she was trolling Piesie Esther, who had a group named the ‘table of men’ pushing her to win the VGMA.
However, in a new interview, Empress Gifty has denied shading Piesie in any way.
According to her, what she posted has to do with promoting her own songs and was in no way, shape or form meant for Piesie.
She said since she posted with a clean conscience, nothing can make her take down the post.
