I Hide God’s Revelation To Me In My Songs, I Don’t Want People To Call Me Fake – Ofori Amponsah

Ofori Amponsah has acknowledged that he frequently receives revelations from God but hides them from the public out of fear of ridicule.
On Sunday, June 4, I spoke with Nana Ama McBrown on the Onua Showtime TV program. The celebrated Ghanaian singer claimed he used music to express these discoveries, some of which have come to pass.

By citing his song “Hello Hello” as having “prophecies” from divine revelations, Ofori Amponsah claimed to have predicted the conflict between the Ukraine and Russia as well as the Covid-19 outbreak.

Sometimes when I get a revelation, I am afraid to say it because I feel people will insult me so I infuse it into my lyrics.

“I released ‘Hello hello’ in 2005 and today the things I mentioned including Russia and Ukraine/America’s dispute as well as darkness filling the earth in 2020 have all come to pass,” Ofori Amponsah stated.

Ofori Amponsah asserts that although though he frequently creates love songs, he has always had a strong faith in God, which is why many people found it difficult to accept his new role as a pastor.

Ofori Amponsah declared ten years ago that he had been called by God to be a pastor and had thus avoided secular life. After a few years, the musician reversed course and declared that he was returning to secular music when he released “Alewa.”

When people knew me, I was in the secular world that’s why I think they doubted my role as a pastor. I feel like when something is worldly it’s not because the thing is not Christian but it is when people don’t believe that there’s God for me that’s my belief.

“If you read the scriptures and you at songs of Solomon, the words are very romantic. Talent is from God so if you don’t have it, it’ll not work,” Ofori Amponsah stated.
