Nigerian musician Iyanya has received plaudits after deciding to give a matured response when asked about Yvonne Nelson.

During an interview, the Nigerian musician was asked to give a reply to Yvonne Nelson who revealed in her memoir that he was a chronic cheat when they were dating.

Iyanya, who had promised a reply to Yvonne at the right time, changed his mind and gave a subdued response.

According to him, he doesn’t want to speak about Yvonne on radio but would rather call her to have a chat.

“Yvonne Nelson is a sweet girl. I’m sure the book is doing well, obviously, because everybody is talking about it. I don’t really feel good that I have to sit down on radio and talk about it because it’s very emotional.

“I wish I and Yvonne Nelson could sit down and talk about it,” he said.

The Nigerian has been praised for his response in contrast to Sarkodie who went in hard on Yvonne in his diss song, ‘Try Me.’
