Shirley Strawberry, Steve Harvey’s radio co-host, has doubled down on her earlier claim that he is having troubles in his marriage – even as she apologises to him.
According to her, Harvey is going through ‘hell’ in his marriage, although it wasn’t in her place to speak about it publicly and add to their issues.
Recall that in a leaked recording of her chatting with her significant other who is currently in prison, Strawberry spilled the beans on the alleged cheating scandal involving Harvey’s wife Marjorie.
Strawberry told her incarcerated hubby that Marjorie has her own room in the house where a lot of shady stuff goes down.
She also said she believes Steve is afraid of her.
“Marjorie has her own Spa, her own workout room…she could go in there and get massages every day. People come to her house and…work her out and all of that. I was like ‘oh God what a dream’,” Shirley reportedly said.
However, following the audio coming out, Strawberry apologised to Harvey during their most recent radio show.
Somehow though, she still ‘slipped’ in there that he’s having difficulties in his marriage.
“These tapes come out, and I’m talking about you and Marjorie. And you guys are going through your own private hell right now. You didn’t need me to contribute to anything,” she said.
She added: “And the reason that I’m live on the radio now speaking on this [Steve], is because your name is in it. We’ve been friends for a long time … and I wanted to give you and Marjorie a public apology, and to ask for your forgiveness publicly,”
