The 2023 edition of the Ghana UK Music Awards came off over the weekend, on October 7th.
The event was held at the Royal Regency in London.
Dancehall artist Shatta Wale was crowned as the Artiste Of The Year.
Shatta Wale beat Black Sherif, Piesie Esther, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy for the ultimate award.
Scheduled to perform included Shatta Wale, Piesie Esther, Frank Naro and others.
According to a report, gospel musician Piesie Esther caused a commotion and got Frank Naro sacked from the stage during his performance.
Piesie Esther is said to have connived with the MC to sark Frank Naro from the stage a few seconds after he mounted the stage.
According to the report, Frank Naro was delayed for about 2 minutes to perform because the organisers invited an unscheduled UK artist to perform.
Following his performance, Frank Naro was called to the stage but Piesie Esther allegedly didn’t understand and got him bulied out of stage.
Her reason was that Frank Naro was performing at the time that she was supposed to perform.
