To mark his 65th birthday, the former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama decided to donate some money and items to the Shai Osudoku District hospital.
Before departing office, he praised the hospital’s management for maintaining the building that his government had built and put into use.
Additionally, Mr. Mahama praised the progress the hospital has made over the previous five years in keeping the number of maternal deaths low.
One of the first areas to benefit from the hospitals the NDC government under John Mahama finished as part of its health infrastructure strategy was the Shai Osuduko District.
Nonetheless, John Mahama voiced concerns about the existing condition of the hospitals his government was unable to finish when speaking to the hospital’s staff and administration at a gift event honoring his 65th birthday. His donations has since warmed the hearts of Ghanaians.
