2 Provides direct patient care under the direction of a Emergency Department physician or registered nurse. Connects patient to cardiac monitor, acquiring and monitoring vital signs effectively.

3 Manages wound care appropriately by utilizing various sterile dressings and/or irrigation. Assists in the stabilization of critical patients by performing chest compressions, positive pressure ventilations, placing pacer pads, and other assorted tasks.

4 Splinting patients fractures with orthoglass or plaster custom splints per MD’s orders.

5 Performing EKGs and reporting results to attending physician. Assisting MD’s in procedures such as intubations, cardio-versions, LPs, orthopedic reductions, placing central lines, and other procedures.

His loss is deeply felt by the community, and he is remembered for his bravery and service.
