A Ghanaian police officer named Francis Adusei has caused a stir on social media after he committed suicide due to suffering a broken heart.
Adusei, who was a Lance Corporal, reportedly shot himself.
The incident occurred on Monday, May 6th, at the Atomic Police Barracks in Kwabenya.
Adusei suffered life-threatening injuries from the shooting and was rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital where he passed.
According to reports, he took his life due to suffering a broken heart.
Prior to his action, Lance Corporal Adusei shared a text with a friend which sort of hinted at his frustration with life.
