Lies Have A Short Life Span – NDC’s Sammy Gyamfi Reacts as OSP Clears Former President Mahama in Airbus Scandal

The opposition NDC’s top communicator, Sammy Gyamfi, has jumped on social media to rejoice following a report from the Special Prosecutor that cleared former President Mahama of any wrongdoing in the Airbus scandal.

According to him, lies are always exposed and in the end, the truth always wins.

Gyamfi’s jubilation comes after the office of the Special Prosecutor revealed its findings into the Airbus scandal that plagued the former President, John Dramani Mahama.

Following their investigations, the OSP said no evidence was found that the ex-President engaged in corrupt acts in regards to the Airbus deal.

The final report read, in part, that: “…the OSP investigation found no evidence that former President Mahama was involved or played any role in the procurement and maintenance of the agency relationship between Airbus and Foster and his associates in respect of the purchase by the Government of Ghana of military transport aircraft from Airbus,”

Following the findings, the NDC has been rejoicing on social media.

Communications Officer “Sammy Gyamfi said: Lies they say, have a short life span. And vindication they say, is in the womb of time. Once again, H.E. John Dramani Mahama has been vindicated, as the Office of Special Prosecutor has exonerated him of any wrongdoing in the Airbus saga,” he wrote.

Gyamfi added: “The evil smear agenda by the corrupt Akufo-Addo/Bawumia “agyapadie” cabal, who are desperately looking for corruption class mates, has failed,”
