Gospel singer Empress Gifty has voiced her disapproval of many Ghanaians’ habit of relying on relatives or friends living abroad for financial support.
She explained that living abroad doesn’t mean an easier life, saying, “Being abroad doesn’t mean you’re in heaven. Life is a struggle everywhere.”
Empress Gifty urged Ghanaians to stop being lazy and to work hard for their own success, rather than constantly asking those abroad for money. “They are working hard to earn a living, so you should do the same. Use your hands to work and stop relying on others,” she added.
