Adult Film star Jay Hefner, popular on Instagram as theluckysevennn, is dead, according to his cousin who announced the tragic news in a viral post on Twitter.
Jay Hefner real Saiveon Hopkins was reportedly killed early Sunday, September 7th, 2024 in Lincoln, Nebraska while protecting his cousin, according to a GoFundMe created by his family.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, officers were called to the scene of a fight near North 11th and O streets around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
Upon arrival, they encountered two men with gunshot wounds who were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Saiveon Hopkins, 24 from Lincoln Nebraska, tragically succumbed to his injuries. Hopkins is known professionally as Jay Hefner and is an adult film star.
According to his family, he was trying to protect his cousin from physical violence when he was shot.
Hopkins, of Ontario, Canada, had gone back to Lincoln for a birthday celebration with family members.

He leaves behind a 10 month old daughter and a terminally ill mother. His family’s GoFundMe already met its $25,000 goal.
Jay Hefner was an award-winning model and adult film star who had also just completed a degree in dentistry.
He was also an ambassador and model for Fashion Nova, Rockstar Original, and Drawlz Brand Co.
“My heart is completely shattered,” his girlfriend Madison shared on Instagram.
His cousin’s Twitter post brought in numerous tributes for Jay Hefner.
“Oh no rest in peace to him,” wrote one user on Twitter.
Fellow adult film star Miss B Nasty wrote: “I send my condolences to you & your family. He was such a gentleman every time I seen him at events! 🫶🏽”
