A few hours ago, Bishop Salifu Amoako, the General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, Bishop went on his knees to apologize to the families of the has apologized to the two young girls who tragically died in an accident caused by his 16 year old son, Elrad Salifu Amoako.
According to Bishop Amoako, the days that followed the tragedy have been very difficult for him and his family, particularly because his 16-year-old son was the centre of the tragic event.
Bishop Salifu Amoako was arrested along with his wife to help with the investigations, and on Wednesday, an Accra Circuit Court granted him a bail of GHC50K.
“I am devastated and no amount of words can reverse this tragic and horrible incident, I have cried so much… But all that I’m asking is that may God console your families, may God give you strength to heal in these trying moments. I am pleading with all Ghanaians to plead with the families on my behalf,” he said.
Reacting to this, some Ghanaians claim his apology was not sincere and that it wasn’t going to bring the children back to life.
