Media personality Nana Romeo has expressed his frustration after being denied the chance to speak at Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s recent meeting with creatives. During an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, he shared that although he was the first to raise his hand when the floor was opened for questions, he was deliberately overlooked.
According to Nana Romeo, the organizers responsible for selecting individuals to ask questions were biased. He explained, “When it was time for questions, I raised my hand first. KOKA saw me and asked me to wait, but instead of giving me the microphone, he passed it to someone behind me.”
The event, held on October 16, 2024, was titled “Evening Encounter with the Arts and Tourism Fraternity.” It was designed to encourage dialogue and strengthen relationships between the creative arts and tourism industries. Despite his enthusiasm to engage in the discussion, Nana Romeo’s voice went unheard, prompting him to publicly express his disappointment.
