Social media users have descended on Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, over her plea for Ghanaians to vote for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for him to abolish the E-levy.

Speaking at a campaign event, the Second Lady called on Ghanaians to give her husband a chance to come into power and rule as the President of Ghana.

According to her, if Bawumia wins, he will abolish taxes such as the e-levy which is causing a lot of hardships for Ghanaians.

Reacting to her speech, an angry social media user called her out for thinking Ghanaians are st*pid.

“Your husband cut E – Levy cake. You dey tell us to vote for him and when he comes to power he will abolish it. Sia we be kiddies give you?” the netizen wrote.

One person commented in response: “I believe both (Bawumia and Samira) weren’t breast-fed,”
