Stella and Luna, two kids from California, have died following a tragic car accident.
The death of the two kids has left their family devastated, leading to a GoFundMe fundraiser being organized for Stella and Luna to help the grieving parents lay their kids to rest without worrying about the hassle of finances.
The fundraiser was organized by a friend of the kids’ grandparents, Shirley Williams of Los Alamos CA. Williams said she’d know the grandparents, Jim and Sylvia for many years and wanted to help their family in this difficult time. She revealed the kids died Wednesday, November 20th.
She wrote in the GoFundMe: “Yesterday, Jim and Sylvia received the most devastating news any grandparent could get. Their 2 young granddaughters, Stella Aliyah and Luna Alani, were killed in a horrific traffic accident on November 20, 2024. As the family goes through the grieving process, the unexpected cost of funeral expenses is real. Please, we ask for any help you can give, share this, or say a special prayer for the family as they move through the days ahead.”
The fundraiser has realized over 95% of its $15,000 goal at the time of publication, marking it as successful.
Social media users shared messages of support with the grieving parents.
“My heart hurts so much for you Serena. Help this family with these beautiful babies,” read one post calling for donations on the fundraiser.
