He said, “Thanks to all who traveled from far and near, and supported me in diverse ways during my mum’s funeral. I am most grateful.”
He continued, “Ghanaians showed me true love and words can’t express how thankful my family and l are.
Otumfuo decorating my mother with royal symbolic ornaments is much appreciated. l am told it’s the first time Asantehene has done something of this kind for someone who has served the club.”
Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo Consoles Kenpong
New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, is the latest statesman to sympathise with Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong), former Asante Kotoko Board member, after losing his mother.
In his address at his Nima residence when the businessman called on him yesterday, Nana Akufo-Addo promised Kenpong to do all he can to be present at his mother’s funeral. He said, “Sorry, have my sympathy, I will do all I can to be present, if am not able to make it, you will definitely hear from me because you have been a very loyal friend.”

Former Presidents of the Republic of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor, have consoled former Board Member of Kumasi-based Football Club, Asante Kotoko, Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong) for losing his mom, Madam Janet Yaa Biamah.
The businessman, in the company of boxing legend, Azumah Nelson, ace actor Super OD and a high powered delegation called on the statesmen to officially announce his mother’s death.
Sympathizing with Kenpong, former President Kufuor said, ” the presence of your entourage attests to how well you have lived, the trail you have blazed. It is always said that the true colors of a man manifest when he loses his mom, but in your case, you demonstrated true qualities of a man even when your mom was alive. I will make time to mourn with you on the day.”

Former Asante Kotoko instrumental Board Member, Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong), has expressed gross sympathy to the wife and family of murdered Abuakwa North MP, JB Danquah.
The deceased was a close friend to the businessman and describing his sudden death which occurred last Monday, he (Kenpong) said “This is indeed a shocker, he queried me jokingly why I didn’t inform him of my mother’s death the day before his death.

Management of Asante Kotoko Consoles Kenpong
The Management of Asante Kotoko has sent a message of condolence to Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong) on the death of his mother Madam Janet Yaa Biamah who passed on few days ago.
In a telephone interview with General Manager Opoku Nti said,” the entire Kotoko family wish to express our sympathy to Kenpong for the big loss.”
Kenpong Loses Mom
The death is reported at the Holy Family Hospital, Nkawkaw, Kwahu in the Eastern Region of Madam Janet Yaa Biamah, a native of Kwahu Mpraeso. She was 68.
The deceased, who passed on last Friday was the mother of Mr Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong), former Asante Kotoko board member and president of the Kenpong Group of companies.

UK based Afrobeats musician of Ghanaian descent – Fuse ODG (born Nana Richard Abiona) – has beaten Shatta Wale, Davido, Wizkid et al to win the Best International Act, Africa at the just ended 20th edition of the Music of Black Origin Awards (MOBOs).
This makes it the third time the artiste has emerged winner in the said category after successively winning in 2013 and 2014.
The awards which took place at the First Direct Arena in London on November 4, 2015 also saw Drake win the Best International Album with ‘If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late’.
Obour Re-elected As MUSIGA President
Bice Osei Kuffuor, popularly known as Obour, has been re-elected as the president of Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) for the second time.
