Deputy Power Minister Says Says Dumsor Likely To Return In Two Weeks

Whilst we are getting used to the idea of no-dumsor laced with intermittent relapses, circumstances are conspiring to send us back to the dark times of a few months ago.
Deputy Minister of Power, John Jinapor, has revealed that some hydro plants in the country might need to be placed on rest sometime within the next fortnight. That decision, coupled with the recent shutdown of the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah, is likely to lead to a considerable shortfall in power supply, which is certain to trigger another round of load shedding.

‘He/She Got Too Many Baggage’- Don’t We ALL?

angry black woman

Have you ever met a lady/gentleman with bad body odour but always complaining about other people’s odour or a talkative telling another talkative he/she talks too much?

We’re very quick to wave off people and complain about the flaws of others when we are in the same category with them but feel they have a problem. Before you tell someone to go buy a deodorant, buy limes to deal with your odour. We all have a baggage in one way or the other; the only difference is some people’s baggage is in double excess which requires one with a very large heart to deal with.

Certain life experiences naturally confer ‘some baggage honours’ on us – it may not seem like a baggage to us but it is to others. Unfortunately, other people’s baggage is such a big deal to us that they’re not ‘dateable’ or ‘marriageable’.

Some people are even saddled with self-esteem issues – that is their baggage. They have been in relationships which they allowed themselves (yes they did – not the other person) to be emotionally and psychologically abused. They’ve automatically accepted the ‘door mat’ lifestyle where they find it very normal for ‘love interests’ to treat them anyhow. When they get someone who treats them well and with respect, they start reading meanings into everything and even get suspicious of the person. Dealing with an emotionally damaged person is not a walk in the park.

Akosua Busia
Akosua Busia

Popularly known for playing Nettie in Colour Purple, Akosua Busia is back in the news—and this time, she is chasing her ex husband-movie director-John Singleton for some huge cash she claims the ‘Shaft’ director owes her…

Akosua Busia in a legal document filed in LA Family court claims, her then husband- John Singleton suddenly ditched her because Singleton was due to receive at least five percent of Shaft’s profits of more than $100 million—and he didn’t want her to have any.

But that is not really her central theme for the suit, Busia says, “she’s raising their daughter, Hadar Busia-Singleton
alone in Ghana, and despite a court order, the movie maker won’t budge on paying Hadar’s megabucks tuition from private schools in Ghana, England and Michigan,” report Bossip.

The actress added that “under the terms of their divorce, Singleton was supposed to pay for the girl’s education. But Busia said she had to front the tuition money when he didn’t, and she wants the Boyz In The Hood director to pay her $204,056—the amount she said she’s owed for their daughter’s education and after school activities for the over 12 years—and pay her $30,000 lawyer fees.”

Blakk Rasta Talks About Why He Resigned After 8 Years With Multimedia…

Blakk Rasta
Blakk Rasta

It emerged yesterday that the controversial radio presenter-Blakk Rasta who was recently put before Ghana’s parliament for comments he made on his Taxi Driver radio show on Hitz Fm had resigned—and today, we get to hear why he decided to end his service at Multimedia, after 8 years…

According to Blakk Rasta, Multimedia did not really support him when he was invited by parliament—and he seems right on this, because an employer must at least give guidance and support to an employee in such difficult times.

Blakk Rasta told NewsOne that;

“When  I was invited by Parliament, my employers did not even sit me down before the invitation so we plan on what exactly we should say there and how things should go, they did not get a lawyer for me, nothing; nothing like that happened.  Even my HR who was there knew next to nothing about the incident when he was questioned about the issue and what exactly I had said.

“I did not get any support from Multimedia, which I thought was unfair.  I thought once I was with you, I should get your support. Even if you do not agree with what I said, you can go and say you do not agree and that you are pleading for clemency. But that was not done and I even had to look for my own lawyer.

Chris Brown and Royalty
Chris Brown and Royalty

Last week, it was a media war between Asamoah Gyana and Sarah Akwabla, borne out of what many considered as ridiculous pre-natal demands from Sarah—which pushed the Ghanaian football star to request DNA to establish if indeed he is the father of a baby the 22-year-old student is carrying.

Far in America, R&B star-Chris Brown who was super excited over his first baby-Royalty has filed paternity test—because, the baby Mama-Nia is demanding $15k a month in child support, way more than Chris says is fair.

TMZ writes that ;

“We’ve learned Chris just filed legal docs in Houston to establish paternity. That will give him the right to fight Nia over support and custody.

Chris has been paying Nia what he believes is a fair amount — she claims he’s been paying $2,500 a month. He wants a judge to set the figure, which he’s confident will be closer to his number than hers.

Watch the music video below and pay attention to Gyan’s rap verse…

Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer- Kissi Agyabeng has confirmed that his client was involved in consensual  intercourse with the 22-year old University student, Sarah Kwabla—but says, the intercourse was consensual, not rape as the student claims.

It emerged this morning that, Sarah Kwabla was seriously threatening to make public a secretly recorded video of a s*xual intercourse she had with Black Stars-Captain Asamoah Gyan if the footballer does not pay up, reports. And that the whole intercourse was rape…

The 22 year old claims she secretly recorded Gyan chopping her down in February—but that is not all, she is now pregnant and she is demanding that Asamoah Gyan should get her a neatly furnished apartment, a housemaid and a monthly stipend of $1,000 for postnatal care.

Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri, Editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com looked at this issue in an article titled ‘Forget the 22-Year-Old IDIOT & Think About Asamoah Gyan’s Annual Ritual of Scandals | Next Month is A Year Since Castro’s Disappearance.

In the article, he wrote;

I do not even have to justify to anyone why this 22-year-old University Student-Sarah Kwabla who claims to have been raped and impregnated by Asamoah Gyan is an idiot—but I will dedicate a few paragraphs to this.

Who would foresee her own rape and not prevent it by avoiding the circumstance that would lead to it happening or not bother to report it? But would rather consider the act of secretly recording herself being rape by a fit footballer as the plausible alternative?

Menaye Donkor and mother
Menaye Donkor and mother

Menaye Donkor, wife of Ghanaian football star-Sulley Muntari has given birth—and as we wait to see a photo of mother and child, a GhanaCelebrities.Com reader has sent in these photos which show heavily pregnant Menaye and her mother shopping right before she popped out.

According to the reader, she found the photos while surfing the internet—and that “Menaye [was] chopping some Euros at Chopard before the delivery of her baby. Hmm must be nice.”

Earlier today, we reported that; “Menaye-Muntari child will not have a full muslim name and we are not sure how this will sit with the Muntari family.

Already, there is this alleged tension between Menaye and the Muntari family grounded on the fact that Menaye Donkor failed to convert to become a Muslim as the teachings of the Holy Quran demands.

Insiders Say Sulley Muntari and Menaye Donkor’s Child Will Not Have A MUSLIM NAME + MORE

Menaye Donkor and Sulley Muntari
Menaye Donkor and Sulley Muntari

GhanaCelebrities.Com was the first to report that Menaye Donkor was pregnant as far back as March before she came out weeks later to confirm with a photo—and yesterday, we broke the news that Menaye Donkor has given birth safely to the full delight of her husband-Sulley Ali Muntari.

Though not confirmed yet, we were told the baby is a girl—and she is adorable.

However, insiders are shockingly telling us that the Menaye-Muntari child will not have a full muslim name and we are not sure how this will sit with the Muntari family.

Already, there is this alleged tension between Menaye and the Muntari family grounded on the fact that Menaye Donkor failed to convert to become a Muslim as the teachings of the Holy Quran demands.

And also,  GhanaCelebrities.Com is told certain members of the Muntari family have expressed concern about how the wife of a devoted Muslim continuously puts her private body on display on social media (they are not happy with photos like those below)—against the woman should cover up doctrines of Islam.

YVONNE NELSON & FATHER PROBLEMS: Yvonne Nelson Wishes Her Mother HAPPY FATHER’S DAY Again Even Though She Has A Father & We Know Why…

Yvonne Nelson
Yvonne Nelson

Last year, Actress-Yvonne Nelson wished her mother happy father’s day when the world was celebrating fathers—and interestingly, wished the same mother happy mother’s day on the designated mother’s day too.

This got a lot of people wondering if Yvonne Nelson ‘has’ a father—whether he is alive or not and what could be the obvious reason why the father has been shunned, with the mother taking over his position.

No matter how much we try, our mothers can never pass for our fathers and the vice versa. Each sex has a role to play and even if a father has been irresponsible and has pushed the mother to take over his responsibilities, the mother does not all of a sudden become the father. This  is arguable but we think that is the plausible worldview.

So GhanaCelebrities.Com decided to find out what the situation is like with Yvonne Nelson’s father—from which we wrote;

“Yvonne Nelson’s total disregard for her father on several occasions with her last week’s Father’s day tweets being the recent got some of us wondering where the actress’ father could be—and why she seems to be bitter towards her father.

As we mentioned, we started talking to our many sources and so far, we gather that Yvonne Nelson’s real father is Mr. Oko Nelson who lives in Dansoman, just near the Mr. Biggs.

CHRIS-VINCENT: I Support the Ga gods for Killing Over 200 Ghanaians in Accra Flood | My Only Problem is; They Should Have Killed MORE People

Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri
Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri

I actually support the Ga gods for killing over 200 Ghanaians with a flood and fire for the gross disobedience. My only problem is that, they should have killed more people…

If the Christian God (according to the Bible) killed almost everyone (including women and children) and left Noah and a few people ‘plus’ the animals with a flood which credulous Christians believe as having actually happened—why are the same people finding it difficult or appalling to believe the Ga gods actually caused the Accra flood and fire?

If the God of Israel was able to open the ground and hundreds of people were pulled into it—and closed it afterwards; why can’t the Ga gods also be killing anyhow they want, especially when people disobey them?

It’s hypocrisy as a reasonable person not to question the Noah’s biblical story and yet set off to question the Ga Traditional council’s story. But then, religion breeds no reasonable person so what am I talking about…
