A music producer by name of Brandon Parrott is suing both Dr Dre and protégé 50 Cent for ‘stealing’ the idea to the 2003 hit track ‘P.I.M.P’ from him.
Parrott claims he sent some tracks to Dre in 2001, hoping for one of his artists to perform them. He said he was later informed one of the tracks was accidentally used in P.I.M.P, and thus he signed a settlement based on that information.
