In 2009, he made a comeback singing about how his girlfriend who deceived him ‘Adee Yi’. And after enjoying lots of airplay especially on TV with his witty and unusual lyrics, Ahoney Man is back again with ‘Car Korkor’ – meaning red car.
In this song full of metaphors, he sings about his desire to drive a red car at night especially due to the fact that there is no traffic at that time. Hmmm!! <<<DOWNLOAD NOW>>>
Ghana’s International Striker and Sunderland’s player maker “Asamoah Gyan” who doubles as a Musician was on UK Sky TV talking about his music career and gave out a lil freestyle of his verse in “African Girls”.
Mallam Issah, a popular movie in which Adu Kofi, also called Agya koo, posed as a Muslim cleric has incurred the displeasure of the Moslem community in the Kumasi metropolis.
The United Form for Islamic Affairs, a movement for all Muslims (Al-sunna Waljamah), Tijaniyya, Council of Zongo Elders, etc), has demanded the withdrawal of this and others like Rakiya, Asante Kramo and Agya Koo Makaranta as well as related advertisement from the market.
This followed an emergency meeting on Tuesday organized by the Ashanti Regional Security Council (REGSEC) with the Film Producers Association of Ghana and the United Forum for Islamic Affairs at which the film makers apologized to Moslem community and agreed to have the movies withdrawn. The timely intervention of REGSEC averted a possible mayhem in the metropolis as some irate moslem youth had planned to attack the film maker for ridiculing island religion in the films.
The Great Gautama Buddha once recognized the foundation on which our well being and success as Human Beings rest and simplified the complex nature of our ups and downs in life by saying “We are what we think”. A stretch of this will mean, we become what we want to become in our minds.
He might have plagiarised this saying from ancient teachings and scriptures but that should not be of any relevance to this post. What we need to know is not the source of this simple principle of fetching success but the power behind our own minds.
It might sound ludicrous to be told that, most of our failures in life are as a result of our own thinking. Yes, you’re the devil bewitching you own success and progress in life.
I caught up Van Vicker this morning and have managed (deal is 99 percent sealed) to secure an interview for all the Van fans and readers who may have questions for the Ghanaian Actor currently based in Nigeria.
The Ghanaian Movie Industry picked up glamour and gained extensive popularity with the likes of Van Vicker starring in most of the remarkable movies produced by Venus.
I was excited to read your write-up on the upcoming posh wedding between Sulley Muntari and Menaye Donkor and have decided to send in this with the hope that you will publish it.
I will start my mail by saying a BIG congrats to Menaye for being able to keep his man up to today. Others hard theirs and they could not handle and groom them so they lost.
I stand to be corrected on this; Sulley Muntari met Menaye Donkor at the 2006 World Cup hosted in Germany.
The two have been together for more than 4 years and as we are all aware of the short life span of celebrity relationships, they have beaten gravity and they are making it to the altar in few days. (This is an achievement)
When I read about the wedding, I asked myself two questions; what will be going through the head or what will be the expression on the face of Ms Shada Ibrahim (Sulley Muntari’s ex) if she reads about the marriage?
Congolese artist Fally Ipupa, and Nigeria’s 2Face led the winners at the third edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards with Airtel (MAMA), each taking home two trophies at the music awards ceremony at the Eko Expo Hall, Lagos on 11 December 2010.
Nominated in four separate categories, Fally Ipupa scored wins for Best Video (“Sexy Dance”) and Best Francophone act while 2Face, a former MAMA winner from 2009, picked up trophies for Artist of the Year and Best Male.
Cabo Snoop notched up a music first for Angola by becoming the first ever Angolan winner at MAMA 2010, taking home the prize for Best Lusophone act. The inaugural Best Anglophone award went to Kenyan Gospel breakthrough artist Daddy Owen – the first time a gospel artist has won a MAMA.
You know what, this is the best music video of 2010 and if you think otherwise then you have to find the X button at the right hand corner of the page. I cannot stop watching it. Big thanks to the loyal reader “Jestoo” who sent in the link. You have made our day. I do … Read more

Celebrities are not all the time looking posh and covered in make-up. The body they keep demands a whole lot of work. Working out or keeping fit is a “regular food” for various Ghanaian celebrities though everyone seems to have a way of doing it.
While some result to playing Golf, others go for the usual running up the hills. I guess what works well for a person is what matters most when it comes to working out.
How do you work out in your own little way? Check the photos below of some of Ghanaian celebrities having a day off as celebs…
It is sad to read that Niki ( I do not even want to call her a Ghanaian Actress since she is a wannabe Actress) says she will not go nude in Ghana just because it does not pay much. However, She will take her clothes off if she hits Hollywood or if it was Hollywood (Who wants to see your body in Hollywood anyway? Keep having wild dreams).
Her reason for not wanting to take off her clothes in Ghana and wanting to take them off in Hollywood makes me sick. To her, it is all about money, everything else comes later.
What happened to morals and self pride, values and good scripts, her womanhood and culture as a Ghanaian? Money can really buy some of these young girls huh?
Anyway, read below for more…( Her make-up even says it all…)
…………………………………………………….
A Ghanaian actress of Greek lineage, Nikoletta Samonas popularly known as Nikki, has said that she will prefer taking off her clothes in a Hollywood movie rather than in Ghanaian movies.
Her reason is that doing such a thing in Ghana does not pay. Speaking in an exclusive interview with NEWS-ONE, the advertising model turned actress also said the worse of it all was that explicit sex scenes in Ghana were not properly done, hence she had never thought about inculcating such roles into what could be described as her dream roles.
In a move aimed at spicing up the occasion and making the Christmas event a grand and memorable one, the management of ‘Home Proud Entertainment’ has succeeded in getting the smooth singing contemporary highlife icon, Kwabena Kwabena to partner Daddy ‘DL’ Lumba for the much anticipated ‘Homecoming Show’ slated for the plush Royal Lamerta Hotel in Kumasi, this December.
Born George Kwabena Adu, the 32 year old highlife singer who evolved after his feature on Kontihene’s hit track in 2004, described DL as living legend, acknowledging his contribution to Ghanaian music over the years.
I have just gotten off the phone with Kensteve Anuka, the director/producer of the movie “Hidden Passion” which features a naked hairy butt of an Actor that I wrongly stated as that of John Dumelo in my previous publication.
According to the director/producer, “John Dumelo is a real professional and would not do such a thing”.
Despite my vigorous push to get the name of the Actor playing the naked butt sex scene, Kensteve who has also directed and produced about 15 movies including “Forever Young” and “Crazy Scandal” refused to give me a name.
He said among other things that, he is protecting his actors and will therefore not give out any name to subject anyone to insults. However, he confirmed what John Dumelo said in my earlier chit chat with him.
After publishing the article on the upcoming vulgar centred movie “ Hidden Passion”, I had a call from John Dumelo who said, he does not remember shooting any revealing sex scene like seen in the movie.
As the trailer flows with a deliberate effort not to show the face of the person showing his butt which comes just after John Dumelo’s sex scene , it is clear that the producers want us to believe it is John’s back side and that is exactly what I did.
I am therefore changing the title of the article until we are able to reach the producers and ascertain whose backside it is in the trailer.
I will refer to the person showing his hairy butt as “Mr Nobody” until the producers come out to tell us who it really is in that scene.
Undoubtedly, ‘4Play’ was one of the movies which had lots of attention from the media. It’s the same movie in which actress Juliet Ibrahim showed her ‘goodies’.
The original trailer showed her boobs tangling in the video but after several talks with the producers, those parts were edited from the movie. However, ‘4Play Reloaded’ more of a sequel is ready for the market to consume.
In line with its Say NO! to Violence campaign championed by Hollwyood actress Nicole Kidman, UNIFEM Ghana has endorsed the groundbreaking international drama “Sinking Sands” as part of its media resource for the campaign. As a resource, the film will be used by UNIIFEM in educating women on the issues of violence and ways to prevent it in their homes and in their lives.
“We are so excited to have the endorsement of UNIFEM Ghana. The film seeks to empower women no matter their circumstance, and UNIFEM Ghana’s mission fits perfectly as we use art to give life lessons,” said an elated filmmaker Leila Djansi.

In what most people are referring to as a puzzling affair, contemporary highlife singer, Kwabena Kwabena is set to headline the “Songs of David” Choral Music Fiesta on Saturday night. He is also set to become one of the resident judges for the reality television show. People are therefore left wondering if the velvet voiced highlife crooner will sing more spiritual and Christian songs on the night or will stick to the romantic highlife ballads that are synonymous with his performances.
Okyeame Kwame rocked Takoradi last Friday during his ‘OK In Your Zone’ tour. He was mobbed by over 5,000 fans. After the show in Takoradi, he moved to the University of Ghana, Legon to take part in the MTN Day show.

After spending the early part of her Sunday visiting children at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the Dzorwulu Special School as part of her birthday celebrations, nothing could hint actress, Jackie Appiah of the surprise birthday party her manager, Samira Yakubu had planned for her later in the evening.
Jackie had agreed to accompany her hubby to a quick business meeting at the Holiday Inn but was stunned by what she found behind the doors to the conference room of the hotel. With fellow actress, Nadia Buari opening the door for her, and welcoming her with a kiss she looked passed the entrance to see host of her colleagues all dressed up and ready to party. After getting over the initial surprise, an excited Jackie went round to greet he guests that had gathered for her surprise birthday party.
I find it difficult to understand the actions of certain successful men in life. What at all is happening to the world we live in today?
