30th April 2010 marks a great day in the life of a great member of the Ghanaian music society Kwame Nsiah Apau aka Okeame Kwame. Okyeame completes his pursuit for a bachelor of arts Degree at the KNUST in Kumasi on this day.
With this achievement, Okyeame Kwame enters into the hall of fame of the very few Ghanaian musicians who have attained higher learning in addition to their music career.

Ten Ghanaians on board an Accra-New York flight of Delta Airlines were arrested last month at JFK Airport, USA, for drug-related offences. Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) sources said they are assisting the US security authorities in their investigations.
The Executive Secretary of NACOB, Yaw Akrasi-Sarpong, who spoke to the Times newspaper in Accra on Tuesday, on the arrest, blamed officials of Debill Security Services, a US security agency that provides inflight security, for allegedly preventing NACOB officials at the Kotoka International Airport from conducting a search on the passengers as well as their luggage.

The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) has arrested a music producer, Samuel Safo Kantaka, for attempting to smuggle substances believe to be cocaine out of the country. The aroma exuding from certain individuals’ kitchen has it that, Akosua Puni who was alleged to have been dating the Ghanaian football star Stephen Appiah until his injuries has hopped over to the Chelsea and Ghanaian footballer-Michael Essien.
If you may remember, prior to Akosua Puni –Stephen Appiah’s alleged romance, the same Akosua Puni was mentioned as dating Okomfo Kwadee.
Akosua Puni is on the lips of many Ghanaians again as being in a hot romantic relationship with Michael Essien. Not only is there a relationship allegation, she is said to be carrying Essien’s baby. Ghana Music Awards 2010 ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’ and ‘Artiste of the Year’ winners Bradez and Sarkodie respectively have been nominated in the maiden edition of the Museke Online Music Awards.
Bradez has one nomination with Simple which is nominated in the ‘WEST AFRICA SONG OF THE YEAR’ category. Sarkodie has two nominations, they are ‘BEST NEW ARTIST’ and ‘BEST HIP-HOP SONG’ with his track ‘Baby’.
