Readers’ Mail: I Am Happy Yvonne Nelson Is Banned, She Needs A Year Off To Go Learn Acting And Check Into Rehab To Learn Some Sense & People Skills…

Yvonne Nelson At The Game Premiere
Yvonne Nelson At The Game Premiere

About an hour ago, I published the article on Yvonne Nelson’s BAN and I have received 4 E-mails from loyal readers who seem to be sharing the same mind. I have decided to publish the one below (because it came in first).

Thanks to Alicia for writing …..Read her e-mail below

………………………………………………………………………………………

Dear Chris,

I was sad fused with excitement when I read that Yvonne Nelson has been banned in Ghana and Nigeria as an Actress.

I was sad because a young girl did not learn from all the advice people including other Actresses and her fans gave her about her attitude and behavioural disorder.

On the other hand, I am excited because Yvonne Nelson is out of the game for one year and Juliet Ibrahim is pregnant, meaning 2 crap Actresses will be off the Ghana movie industry for about a year. I will be spared all their “shitty” acting and make up disasters.

The positive side of Yvonne Nelson’s ban is that, it will serve as a deterrent to other Actors and Actresses who think they can walk on people’s faces anyhow and anytime. As the adage goes, “You do not bite the hands that feed you”.

Yvonne Nelson
Yvonne Nelson

I stated on here sometimes ago that Yvonne Nelson will kill her own career and folks thought I was “bishing”. I have always admonished her to get ride of her stinking attitude and deluded mental state.

The Ghana Movie industry and its players are bigger than her and it is official today, Yvonne Nelson is banned from Acting both in Ghana & Nigeria for One Year.

Geez!, i spoke to her 2 days ago and she didn’t tell me she was going to be banned (maybe she didnt know)…On a serious note, I wasted my calling card ringing her in an attempt to discuss her charity and acting progress to help me finish an article I am working on. I will have to scratch the article and wait for a year then.

Anyway, read below for more…

Lanky actress Yvonne Nelson denied and jilted Metro TV’s Allo Tigo presenter Jon Germain in public. According to the actress, his relationship with Jon was purely platonic. In a layman’s language, she means there are just friends.

The actress told NEWSONE something back that “I have a boyfriend and it will not be fair to go behind him. Jon is just a friend. You can call him and ask him. There is nothing going on between us. I even hear he is getting married.”

But Jon said “I haven’t spoken to her in a week and I don’t feel like calling her and I know she does not also feel like calling me either. I am sure it is over”. And what was the end of their amorous relationship.

Interestingly, the actress has since denied any man she has been found with. From celebs actors John Dumelo, Jym Ike to Black Stars midfielder Derrick Boateng.

Essien Rocks His Hometown With Sulley Muntari For Charity: What Happened To Charity Begins At Home?

Michael Essien & Sullley Muntari
Michael Essien & Sullley Muntari

I am impressed with the steps being taken by Michael Essien and the support  rendered him by Muntari and the others.  Michael Essien stormed his home town “Awutu” to embark on some charitable work.  What baffles my mind comes in a simple question. What happened to Charity begins at home?

Awutu is Essien’s home town but I believe there is a closer home which is his “family”  than Awutu.

As much as I am pleased with what he has done, It would be prudent and more glorying for him to sort out the state of his own father before extending his charitable work to the wider community. What do you think?

Read below for more….(If you want to know about the state of Essien’s  father, Click Here)

……………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Chelsea star Michael Essien received a hero’s welcome when he made a visit to his home town, Awutu on Tuesday. The midfielder was accompanied by officials from Chelsea football team and the charity organizations Purepersona, the Michael Essien Foundation, Chelsea Foundations and Right to Play.

In Awutu, about one hour’s drive from Accra, Essien spoke to local dignitaries, and then went on to unveil two initiatives to promote health and reduce disease in the town. The midfielder also took part in a promotion called “Reading Goals” to encourage children to get into the habit of reading books.

Reading Goals is a series of books created with help from the publishing company Pearson Education and the Ghanaian Ministry of Education to inspire children in the country to read. They are based on Essien’s own experiences and he handed copies to youngsters in front of a mass of people before the football final took place.

Supermodel is a term that came about in 1981 when an interview, with then popular, Janice Dickenson responded saying that her achievements in ruling the runway and magazine covers is that of a superhero, hence “supermodel”.

I have taken time to bring you some old but favourites with West African roots, namely Djimon Housou and Boris Kodjoe. These two heavyweights from Benin and Ghana respectively were also discovered in Europe.

If you Google the name Herb Ritts, you will find the tantalizing portraits of Djimon Housou which brings me to another important designation that parts the sea of Supermodel and Model: Legendary photography!

Actress Khareema Aguiar Celebrates 25th Birthday With The Senior Citizens Of HelpAge Ghana

blank

Birthdays are celebrated with friends, family and loved ones. Some also celebrate this special day all by themselves but actress Khareema Aguiar celebrated her 25th birthday with various senior citizens being taken care by HelpAge Ghana.

HelpAge Ghana is a non-governmental, non-religious and non-profit making organization established in 1988 to promote the prospects of older persons in the Ghanaian society.

In most African settings, when one is old, they are relegated to the background. Some are tagged as witches or wizards and are blamed for every misfortune in their household. When a young woman out there cannot have a baby, the innocent looking old woman is her problem. And the accusations continue unabated.
