Hi Chris,

There are lot of stories going around about this Gyan brouhaha so let me give you a backdrop of what is actually happening here.

As most people know, Gifty has been with Asamoah Gyan for years, way before he became popular and she has been through a lot aside from the cheating scandals that were exposed in the media. Between Baffour, his wife Naana, and their sister in London, Gifty was never liked. Not sure what Naana’s reasons were but their sister started out being supportive until it got to a point where Gifty got tired of giving her money.

Like Karl Marx said, “religion is the opium of the masses”, thereby, some politicians have mastered using it to win votes of those who think being or acting like a Christian means you are genuine and truthful. Akufo Addo makes a perfect example of such politicians with his Homos*xuality comments on Aljazeera.
According to the Bible, Homos*xuality just like any other sin infuriates God. However, Yahweh’s reaction to that type of sin is among the number of times He used extremely violent means to kill sinners purporting that such action is one of the unbearable things in His sight. Since He didn’t cause a fire to burn Adam and Eve or let them be eaten alive by some lions for disobeying Him and telling lies like Politicians do.

I am able to call Chris Vincent ‘the devil’ himself because he has some things in common with Satan himself.
All Christians hate Satan and yet he’s become so irresistible, even though the bible states clearly the ways to resist or overcome his temptations. It’s obvious that in the face of temptations, the words in the bible becomes irrelevant hence, we fall flat to the temptations.
We publicly condemn Satan after we fail to overcome temptations and then still fail over and over again!
In the same vein, Mark Zuckerberg has put buttons in place to avoid people we claim to dislike on Facebook and yet we can’t? Chris must be using some supernatural powers then.
The classical case of Chris Vincent (the devil) and his righteous social media followers!
I’m a controversialist—I love controversies so I follow Chris Vincent on social media and his blog, and that’s reasonable. There’s no way I’ll unfollow or block him, provided he keeps being controversial.
It’s obvious fact that most Ghanaians hate him for his controversial articles and yet it has become a herculean task for them to hit the block button. Perhaps, Chris is doing something they secretly love, but publicly hate—that’s hypocrisy!

Dear Vincent,
I write to seek audience for my opinion in relation to what every Ghanaian on social media has been talking about: I mean the Yvonne Nelson pregnancy and baby issue.
I understand you are not religious and neither are you a moralist. While I may not fully understand why you sit on these pillars, I can perfectly to some extent see why you wouldn’t even want to associate with a group that is as hypocritical as religious people and those who always shout Culture and Morals.
I am Ghanaian Christian; a proud Christian, Ghanaian and a person who believes society ought to have some level of morals for decency and cohesion to continue.
The Bible clearly states that fornication is a SIN but today Christians are not only widely indulging in fornication, they also defend and support those who practice it. After all, they are just like them. And that’s what we are seeing in the case of Yvonne Nelson.
An actress who is a role model to a lot of young women goes about fornicating and gets pregnant, and then gives birth. Instead of people condemning her sins, they are rather rallying behind her as if she has done nothing wrong.

A GhanaCelebrities.Com’s reader who sent us the below photos claims a Police Water Cannon Truck’s brake failed yesterday at Budumburam near Kasoa–hitting another police Tundra which was driving in front of it.
According to the reader, the accident resulted in Police Constable Asibi Issaka sustaining injuries.
The reader in a message to us wrote:
“Yesterday at Budumburam at about 4pm whiles on convoy, water cannon no.GP 4117 failed brake and hit the back of Tundra no GP 3955 and as result const. Asibi Issaka sustained injuries and was rushed to Police Hospital.”

A few years ago, I wrote an article for GhanaCelebrities.Com about Ghanaian radio and TV commentators, always talking about subjects they have no knowledge about. And thereby feeding listeners and viewers with rubbish as a result of their ignorance on a subject.

I just read the below from my friend-Shatta Molley and it captures my position then–it also shows that things have not changed.

I stopped listening to any Ghanaian conversational radio and stopped watching conversations on Ghanaian TV a while ago and I don’t think I will be making a come back anytime soon.

Look for experts on specific subjects to have conversations with. The Jack of all Trades and masters of all subjects are in fact, mostly ignorant local champions.

Hi Chris,

I recently went to Gh and on my way back I witnessed something unbelievable. Some of our people are disgracing us too much. I was at Amsterdam airport when a man came and sat just in front of me. He and I were the only black people there.

The man fell asleep and while sleeping he placed his hands in his underwear and started rubbing his manhood.

As soon as I saw that I woke him up and to my great surprise the man acted offended for waking him up and even worse he untighten his belt and unzipped his trousers, placed his hands in his underwear and went back to sleep. In that moment all eyes were on us and people started taking pictures of him.
