VIDEO: Racist Chants Did Not Get Mario Balotelli Crying?

Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli

Saying Mario Balotteli should have played for Ghana and not Italy because of the extreme racism he is constantly experiencing there will amount to running away from racism and not tackling this diabolical practice…

Despite the many years Mario Balotelli has spent in Italy, he continues to be racially abused and therefore when he was spotted crying yesterday, many thought he was doing so because of racial chants.

Initially, some thought Balotelli was crying because he was substituted, followed by others saying he was crying because he was racially abused but it turns out the tears were just “tears of a sportsman”.

After the match, Clarence Seedorf  dismissed rumours Mario Balotelli’s tears were down to racist abuse. “It was actually beautiful” he said.

“What can I say about Balotelli’s tears? They were the tears of a sportsman,” said Coach Seedorf in a Press conference.

In an interview with Mediaset Premium Seedorf also said “Mario is human. These are things that happen many times in football and sport in general. I’d say it was actually beautiful, but I’d prefer to talk about the game.”
