TWEET: Stonebwoy Breaks Silence After VGMA Arrest Rumors — READ

A video was trending on the social media in which Ghana’s ‘Dancehall King’, Stonebwoy was exchanging words with the police after he pulled a gun and reportedly fired at the just ended 20th edition of VGMA.

Reacting to this, Stonebwoy took to his Twitter page to rubbish such claims and also used that as an opportunity to appreciate the effort of the Counter-terrorism Commander and his team for giving him the maximum protection after the self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale and his drug-addicted militants rushed on him.

On the back of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s fight during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards on Saturday, May 18, 2019, female Dancehall musician, Kaakie has blasted Shatta Wale for his barbaric behaviour on the night after he lost for the 5th time, the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ award to Stonebwoy.

Shatta Wale had earlier on bagged 2 awards in the categories, ‘Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year’ with ‘Gringo’ and ‘Highlife song of the Year’ with ‘My Level’.

A screenshotted tweet which appears to have been written by our finest rapper, the winner of Artiste Of The Decade Award at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Michael Owusu Addo, better known by his stage name, Sarkodie, is being circulated on social media.

In the tweet as observed by GhanaCelebrities.Com, Sarkodie was seriously throwing shades at his brother from another mother, Ghana’s newest ‘highlife king’, Shatta Wale after losing the reggae/dancehall artiste category to Stonebwoy.

After several years of ‘tormenting’ his colleagues in the music industry, Shatta Wale has finally announced his resignation from the Ghanaian music industry.

He made this announcement on his Facebook page after he was ‘killed’ by his arch-rival the boss of Bhimnation, Stonebwoy at the just ended 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

A very eventful 20th Anniversary VGMA edition came off Saturday night/Sunday dawn at the Accra International Conference Centre.

The event, which was marred by violence from Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, managed to continue following their fracas but ended in a truncated fashion as for the first time in the show’s history, no Artist of the Year was crowned on the night.

Depressed ‘highlife artiste whose song, “My Level” came out as the best highlife music in the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Shatta Wale has called on Ghana Police to question his colleague, Stonebwoy for pulling the trigger at him.

According to Shatta Wale in a Facebook post, Police should not pretend they didn’t see what happened at the Accra International Conference Centre where Stonebwoy drew and reportedly fired a gun after he tried to make peace with him.
